Privacy Policy

Last updated: 04-08-2026

I’m Dirk. I run Dirq Media, a one-person business in Nijmegen, the Netherlands (KvK 74224506). This page explains what I do with your data.

What I collect

If you fill in the contact form: your name, email, business type, and message. I use it to reply and build your demo.

If I emailed you first: your name, business email, website and profession, found on your own website or public listings. I don't buy contact lists.

If you become a client: whatever you send me for your website, plus invoices.

My hosting provider keeps standard server logs including IP addresses, as every website does.

I don't sell your data or share it with advertisers.

Who else sees it

I work alone. A few suppliers hold data on my behalf: Macaly (hosting), Squarespace (domains), Google (email), and my accountant (invoices). Some are outside Europe, covered by standard legal safeguards.

How long I keep it

Enquiries that go nowhere: 12 months. Cold contacts who never replied: 24 months. Client files: while we work together plus a year. Invoices: seven years, required by Dutch tax law.

If you ask me to stop contacting you, I keep just your email address on a do-not-contact list so I don't email you by mistake.

Your rights

You can ask me to show, correct, or delete what I hold about you, or to stop emailing you. Email info@sitesthatring.com and I'll sort it out, usually within a day.

If you're unhappy with how I handled it, you can complain to the Dutch data protection authority (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl) or the equivalent in your country.

Cookies

This site uses only the cookies it needs to function. No tracking, no analytics, no advertising.

Changes

If I update this policy, I'll change the date at the top.
